The Santian Empire (Santian: Dominui di Santia, 'Santian Domains'), known for much of its existence as the Magari Empire (Santian: Dominui di Magario) or formally as the August Kingdom (Santian: Regnoselimo), was an empire which ruled large areas of Santia, Promeridona, and other regions between the 10th and 19th centuries. Established in the 3rd century CE as a small regional kingdom, it is sometimes split into three distinct, successive imperial polities, with each institutionally continuous and ruled by the House of Magario. At its height, the empire spanned an area of almost 6 million square kilometres, and contained a population of over 50 million people.
