She was best known for her role as Mona Schubert in the Besmenian sitcom Married with a Married Couple (1985-1995) for which Siekmann was awarded the Besmenian Television Award for best leading actress in 1990, and as Ingrid Schlinger in the crime comedy The Office of Becker (1986).
