Salvinsky strongly opposed the regime of the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taliban Taliban] and the actions of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Qaeda Al-Qaeda], having critisced both very frequently. | "The path we have chosen for he present is full of hazards, as all paths are; but it is the one most consistent with our character and courage as a nation and our commitments around the world. The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender or submission. Our goal is not the victory of might, but the vindication of right; not peace at the expense of freedom, but both peace and freedom, here in this hemisphere, and, we hope, around the world. God willing, that goal will be achieved".

| Salvinsky went on to end the speech in a quite passive aggressive manner, ending the speech with the following:

| "Our military should not be mistaken for a cable new gabfest show. We dont care what you look like, we dont care who you voted for, we dont care who you worship, what you worship, or who you love. It doesnt matter if you're dad left you millions when you died, or if you knew who your father was. We have been honed into a machine of lethal movings parts that you would be wise to avoid if you know whats good for you. We will not be intimidated, we will not back down. We’ve seen war, we don’t want war. But if you want war with the United States Of America, theres one thing I will promise you so help me god. someone else will raise your sons and daughters.

| Salvinsky met Elizabeth Keen (Formely Masha Rostova) during his time at [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Cambridge# University of Cambridge]. The two instantly bonded over shared interests and began dating in Mid 2004. In 2008, Salvinsky proposed to Elizabeth. She dually accepted and the two were married in late September. The couple are now married 15 years and from all accounts are happy as ever. The two conceived their first and only child in early November,2011. Nine months later Agnas was born on the 8th of August, 2012. Agnas is now 10 years old and is approaching her 11th birthday.
