Russia, formerly Russia SSR, is a Eurasian state under Mongol administration. Formed upon the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, the newly-independent Russian state remained nominally communist, but under the direction of Mikhail Gorbachev, it became more open and market-oriented. This increasing level of freedom, however, led to nationwide unrest, causing the fall of the government in 2022, after which governance was assumed by the Mongol Uls.
