The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, also referred to as the Foreign Secretary, is a senior Minister of the Crown within the Government of Aquitayne, and head of the Foreign Office. As one of four Great Offices of State, the Foreign Secretary is a Senior member of the Aquitaynian Cabinet.
The current Foreign Secretary is Robert Veladrys MP, since his appointment by Richard Larrow in 2019.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Foreign Secretary are to correspond with other foreign ministers. The Foreign Secretary's mandate includes:
- Aquitaynian relations with foreign nations
- Promotion of Aquitaynian interests abroad
- Matters pertaining to Overseas Territories
- Oversight for His Majesty's Royal Service (HMRS) and Royal Signals Intelligence Headquarters (RSHQ)
