The ROTOR (Roquetta-Ordinance de Tourella d'Operation Rapide) is a short-range anti-submarine weapon used on certain naval vessels of the Inyurstan Navy. Roucharde Class Frigates are the primary vessel which mounts the ROTOR, but it is also mounted on Valízeno-Class Cruisers.
Because of its short range, the weapon is generally considered defensive in nature (and likely a last-line of defense) with the longer-ranging MCS-22 Manta being the primary anti-submarine weapons on both vessels. In operation, the ROTOR is used to attack an entire "grid" at once, allowing a ship to target a given area of sea and rapidly fire nine 270mm anti-submarine rockets in a specific pattern.
