The 2002 World Cup, also called the 2002 Viitaniemi World Cup, was an international football tournament contested by men's national teams which took place between 9 April to 16 April, 2002 in Viitaniemi, Caspiaa. 31 national teams advanced through qualification competitions to join the host nation in the final tournament, with a total of 64 matches played. Lutharia won the final match for their first World Cup title.
