The Central Alps League is the administrative body for Lutharia and Angouburg's professional association football teams. Named for the Lutharian Alps, the league consists of 16 clubs - 12 in Lutharia and 4 in Angouburg - all of which compete on regional levels and the annual championship in the CAL Cup, also known as the Peaks Cup. CAL controls the prize money, regulations, and media rights to those competitions. The organization's CEO is Gilbert Brandebourg. The CAL also organizes and maintains the Lutharia national football team and Angouburg national football team, both of which compete in wider international events like the World Cup and EFC Nations League.
