The Wider Realms (as its called in Common Standard), sometimes rendered in writing as WR, refers to the world and generally the planet of Earth. As a broad term, it refers to all countries and territories of the world. The principal facilitator of international diplomacy in the Wider Realms is the Organization of Nations, established in 1961 after the Slowdown.
Pacalay is the most populous country of the Wider Realms, followed by Odevia and the Federate Union. Calays, Avenians (including ancestry), and Tasians are the most numerous among hundreds of ethnicities.
