The Moderate Party, commonly referred to as the Moderates (Ostisk: Moderaterna), and until 2023 known as the Conservative Party, is a centre-right political party in Ordennya. Liberal-conservative in outlook, the party generally supports tax cuts, the free market, civil liberties and economic liberalism. Currently the third-largest party in the Chamber of Deputies, they previously formed governments as the Conservative Party on eighteen occasions between 1851 and 2015. Founded in 1805, it is the oldest continuously-existing political party in Ordennya. They lost their status as the main party of the Ordennyan Right to the People's Party at the 2018 federal election.
