History

Founding and under R&F (1963-1987)

R&F Media Networks was founded on 23 April 1963 by R&F Communications to launch, RFCTV, the company's own television channel. Realising the success of RFCTV, the company expanded its media ventures including SBTV in 1966, Banana TV in 1967, and the Freeman Channel in 1972. In 1974, the company conducted a joint venture with the Fallish government, establishing Channel 8 Falland. This was followed by several other joint ventures with other governments including X with Waldrich and X with the Free States.

In 1979, the most popular channel Pennymonium debuted under the R&F Media Networks umbrella, gaining substantial viewership and becoming a staple in Fallish television programming.

Throughout the 1980s, the company continued to expand its portfolio, acquiring additional television channels and brands both domestically and internationally. This period of expansion solidified its position as a prominent player in the Fallish media landscape. Several joint ventures with other media companies including the Richardson Film Company, and House Broadcasting.
