Leithaniasburgh, alternatively Leithanienstadt, formally the Royal Fortress, County, and Capital City of Leithaniasburgh (Illusian: Königliche Festung, Grafschaft und Hauptstadt von Leithanienstadt), is the capital city of the United Kingdom of Illusia and Neverendia, and is also the regional capital of Illusia. Housing 12 million people, it is the third-largest city in the country, behind Midfordshaven. The city is the seat of power of the Illuverendian government, with it commencing operations in the Leithanienstadt Palace, the city's prominent building. Leithaniasburgh is also one of the oldest continuously-habited Illuverendian cities.

Leithaniasburgh traces its origin from the Kazdelian city of Orientalis, founded in 2785 BCE at the height of Kazdelian expansion across Southeastern Anea. During that period, Kazdel annexed the lands inhabited by the Teekazi race of Leithanians. Transformed by Imperial control, the formerly nomadic Leithanians settled in Orientalis, which became the largest city of the Imperial region of Orientalia. In 2450 BCE, during one of the Great Abydosian reforms, Leithanians successfully lobbied to rename Orientalia into Leithania, named after their race. The city's history remained uneventful, that being so until the period of the Abydosian Stagnation.

Owing to the Stagnation and further Leithanian unrest calling for self-rule just like the much-larger Sarkazian Empire to their north which successfully lobbied such calls back in 2450 BCE, the unrest in the imperial region grew into a full-blown revolution. This culminated when Leithanians declared independence in 445 CE, establishing the Kingdom of Leithanien, and setting the stage of the Leithanite Wars. Five years after the war started, and with the Kazdelian Empire now in serious trouble and about to shatter, Leithanian armies razed Orientalis to the ground and utterly destroyed the eastern bastion of prestige of the Empire. This followed with the collapse of the Kazdelian Empire shortly afterwards. Ten years after the razing of Orientalis, the now-independent Leithanians reestablished a city over the ruins of Orientalis, naming it Leithanienstadt, and became its capital.
