'Eska Alfaria', officially the 'Dependancy of Eska Alfaria' is an overseas dependency of the Imperium of Amador in Greater Dienstad. It borders Holy Marsh to its east is governed by Hypario Davalur-Amador, son of the Crown Royal, Aleriel and her husband, Elduin Davalur. Eska Alfaria is the most populous overseas territory of the Imperium, with a population 6.2 billion. It's capital is Ainea Alfaria and its largest city Astraia. Founded in the late fourth millennium BCE, Eska Alfaria is an ancient land and is considered a beacon of Alfar culture in the region. The population of the territory lives along the coast and on the island of Cadwen while much of the country is covered in forests and farmlands.

Eska Alfaria, despite its size, is considered a major breadbasket of the Imperium, providing substantial amounts of barley and cocoa and various other foodstuffs to Kva Norale and the motherland. Rich, fertile lands untouched by industrialization have given the territory substantial sway in the politics of the Imperium. The badlands, an area of blasted fields of rock, and burning forests exists along stretches the Marshite-Alfarian border, is devoid of habitation and unsuitable for agriculture. It is cordoned off through series of walls and fences.

Eska Alfaria is famed for its integration of Alfarian-Marshite culture, stemming from millennia of cultural fusion between Holy Marsh and Amador. Eska Alfaria is an extremely diverse territory, with a large percentage of the population being Marshite. The Alfarian Sarda is headquartered in Astraia and is part of the Pathenko, the governing body of the territory.

Geography

Eska Alfaria is a large country in Greater Dienstad. Bordering Holy Marsh and possessing an island territory, Cadwen, Eska Alfaria is home to numerous geographically different areas. Coastal Alfaria is flat, with expansive lands at or below sea level, while central Eska Alfaria is flat and fertile. Northern Alfaria consists of dense tropical rainforests, while the Badlands straddles the border between Eska Alfaria and Holy Marsh. It is a barren, desolate land with very little infrastructure save for border crossings.

Mt. Dash

The Maripony Mountains, in northwest Eska Alfaria are also a prominent featur of the nation, with peaks often reaching 3,000 meters or higher. They are snow-capped year-round due to westerly winds and a chilling effect. The highest mountain, Mt. Dash is 4,120 meters talls, and is an extinct stratovolcano. The mountain range is largel volcanic and possess numerous caves that house Amadorian dragons.

North Eskan Rain Forest

The island of Cadwen, off the coast of mainland Eska Alfaria, is flat and fertile and a central breadbasket of the nation and the Imperium as a whole. Lake Pony at the center of Cadwen, is the largest lake in the nation. The lake provides two-fifths of all fresh water consumption in the state, while several rivers, including the Brotiel River, provides the remaining three-fifths.

Climate

Eska Alfaria has a tropical rain forest climate with no apparent distinctive season, relatively distinctive uniform temperatures, high humidity, and abundant bordering heavy rainfall. Temperatures typically range from 20 to 35 °C. Temperature does not vary greatly through the year, though the winter seasons see the most variations. There is a wetter monsoon season from November through January where rainfall exceeds 200 mm per month.

The main variable that affects Eska Alfarias 's climate is rainfall, not temperature or air pressure. Humidity ranges anywhere between 65 % to 90 % on an average day, with several weeks of 100 % during the summer months. Winds are typically moderate, exceeding 30 km/h on occasion and are considered quite predictable. The waters surrounding Eska Alfaria are relatively warm, affecting land temperatures steadily.

Eska Alfaria averages roughly 2700 hours of sunshine per year. Sunshine hours were highest during the summer, where some days exceeded 12 hours of sunshine. Winter months, notably during December, average sunshine hours may exceed no more than 6 total hours daily.

Average water temperature ranges do not vary greatly, owing to Eska Alfaria's equatorial proximity in Greater Dienstad. Average temperatures range from 17-18 degrees Celsius year round, with minor variances during winter months and summer months.

As much as ten percent of Alfaria's land area is dedicated solely for nature reserves and parks. Three-fourths of naturally occurring flora and fauna are are now only found in dedicated nature preserves, including the Alfaria Botanic Gardens, among the most popular attractions in the state. There has been a substantial decline in natural space owing in part to extensive urbanization of limited land available. To combat environmental loss, the Alfarian government, starting in 2000 AD has set aside as much at 10 % of the city-state's land to preserve, protect, and cultivate local flora and fauna.

There are an estimated 10,974 species of vascular plants in Amaldorei, of which 4,078 are considered endangered. An estimated 3,65 species of mammals, 1,284 species of bird, 487 species of reptiles, and 113 species of amphibians native to Eska Alfaria.

Population

With a population of 6,283,428,377 as of 2023, Eska Alfaria is the largest oversees territory of the Imperium. The population of Eska Alfaria contains countless speciess of sentient lifeforms, with the Alfar elves being its most prominent populace at 42% of the total population of Amador. Marshite population makes up 40% the population. Hybrids between Alfar and humans, often called half-bloods, make up 8%% of the population, while the remaining 10% are made up of varying other species of non-humans and non-alfar. Pureblood Alfar procreate at a far slower rate than half-blood and humans do.

Urbanization

The Imperium is a heavily urbanized nation. According to a 2024 Statistical Evaluation Survery, more than 90% of the population of Eska Alfaria lives in urban areas, over which 69% of the urban areas are along the coast. Eska Alfaria has ten cities with population over 50,000,000, with Astraia being the largest in Eska Alfaria and the third largest city overall in the Imperium behind Citadel and Ifa Serine. Ainea Alfaria is the second largest city in the territory and also serves as the political capital of the state.

Eska Alfaria's population is mostly situated along the coast, with varying degrees of population throughout the remainder of the nation and along the border between the nation and Holy Marsh, a stalwart ally. The coastal regions are home to large, sprawling cities that contain most of the nation's population.
