The Yunjou Man (Homo erectus yunjounsis) is a subspecies of Homo erectus which inhabited the Fuihoudim archaelogical site near Yunjou city, Zhongdei in Yingok around 1.05 to 0.25 million years ago. Accidentally unearthed in a railroad construction project in 1909, the fossil is the oldest Human remains in Yingok ever found and the Fuihoudim site has since then become one of the most important H. erectus site in the world.
