The Social Environmentalist Party (SEP) was a centre-left to left-wing political party in Garetolia which was founded by Jonathan Ruben in 1979. The SEP merged with the Environmental Reform Party and Sunflowers in 1988 to form the current Green Party. Members of the Social Environmentalist Party, Ruben in particular, were the ones who fostered the idea of the Garetolia National Parks and Recreation Service (GANAPARS).
