The Sea of Aegaeon somtimes called the Aegaean Sea or simply the Aegaean; is a large, oil rich body of water located in southern Abos. Entirely bordered by the Empire of Huvakia the Aegaean takes its namesake from the imperial capital city Aegaeon. The large oil deposits found beneath the waves of the sea have been a large source of revenue for Prometheus Imperia Power both in domestic sales, and limited exports. The Aegaean has one major inflow of fresh water from the Bay of Emperors which is fed from two rivers of mountain water runoff. Due to the its importance to the Imperial economy the Sea of Aegaeon is one of the most heavily patrolled bodies of water in the world.
