The Herrscherrat, alternatively the Monarch's Council of Illusia and Neverendia, is the legislative body of Illusia and Neverendia. It is a small council of 16 to 32 legislators, joined by the sovereign monarch of Illusia and Neverendia and their advisors. Despite the government style of the state being an absolute monarchy, it is the second-most powerful organisation in the Illuverendian government hierarchy. The legislature in international records is unicameral in nature.
The Herrscherrat was created at the behest of Queen Alyssa in 2050, making it the most recent Illuverendian governmental organisation and the second iteration of a legislative body in the nation, the first being the Council of the Lawmakers during the Franziskanic era. In contrast to 100 legislators maximum in the past, the Herrscherrat only has a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 32. Members, primarily composed of prodigies and individuals excelling in their fields that partake in the organisation are known as magistrates (Illusian: Richter).
