Irina Tomulevska (born 11 April, 1952) is a Syaran chess player and Grandmaster. With a record high rating of 2761, she is the highest rated woman in Syaran chess history. Tomulevska has won the Syaran National Chess Championship seven times, including her first appearance in 1979. As a player Tomulevska is well known for her positional play style and practical approach to tactics and strategy. She is the reigning Syaran National Chess Champion and is a frequent participant in chess competitions across Tyran. Known for her cheerful attitude and behavior even while in competition, Tomulevska is a popular figure in Syara and is often affectionately referred to by the media as "Баба" (Baba; grandmother).
