Gran Telea is the capital city of Beatavic It is located in the mouth of the Gran Telea River which borders Arklip, Emgei and Līdzenums. Parliament hosted they're first session in 1623. The city and province was named after the Telea tribe that settled in modern day Gran Telea. As the seat of the Beatavician federal government, it is an important political capital of the Independent Coalition of Nations.
The Beatavician constitution originally provided a federal district but was changed to a province thanks to the Blokvoort Act of 1743
