The Imperial Hoterallian Navy (IHN; New Hoterallian Transcript: ほてらじあ本帝国海軍, Dai-Hoterajia Teikoku Kaigun "Navy of the Greater Hoterallian Empire", or ほてらじあ海軍 Hoterajia Kaigun, "Hoterallian Navy") was the navy of the First Empire of Hoterallia, established in 1580 and ended in 1940, when it was reformed following the end of Hoterallia's Second Reunification War. The Hoterallian Naval Self-Defense Force (JNSDF) was formed circa 1950-1951 after the dissolution of the IHN.
The Imperial Hoterallian Navy was the one of the largest navy in the world by the start of the 20th Century. It was supported by the Imperial Hoterallian Navy Air Service for aircraft and airstrike operation from the fleet.
