Mirage is a superhero and member of the Starchild Sorority. She is assigned as placeholder's partner.
Appearance
Mirage is a Chinese woman in her early twenties. She has long, black hair, parted in the middle, framing her round face. She has dark brown eyes. Like her sisters, she has pale skin, but unlike them, she has a more curvaceous figure as opposed to their more thin and willowy figures. Her Mark of the Starchild is on her left thigh, coloured dark grey and resembling the constellation Cancer.
Her superhero costume consists of a black leotard, a dark grey hooded cape, a utility belt of the same colour, and a pair of black boots.
Personality
Mirage's experience with Ghosts and their past made her a pacifist, wishing to end all fighting in the world by becoming a Superhero.
Yìng Yuè shares her father's interest in the occult. However, she went further than he ever did in the matter, as she was born with her Spiritual Eye open. She enjoys conversing with harmless Ghosts every once in a while.
She has an interest in Vampires, and has even asked her sisters to be turned. They refused, wary of the results of a Starchild being turned.
She enjoys sitting in high places to watch the moon, especially when it's full.
Shùnéng and Abilities
Shùnéng
Memory Lane
Being a telepathic Shùnéng, Memory Lane allows Mirage to read and manipulate the minds of others, as well as mentally communicate with them.
The unique Power of Memory Lane, however, allows Mirage to summon and control Memories, copies of people based on her or a target's memories of them. While these copies retain their personalities and any abilities, including their Shuneng, they still generally carry out her bidding. The Qi cost for summoning and maintaining Memories on the field depends on the individual Memories' power and the total number of Memories. She can either summon one powerful Memory or multiple weaker Memories. When she no longer has the Qi to maintain a Memory, it is dismissed. Memories are also dismissed after sustaining a certain amount of damage, which varies depending on the Memory itself. Mirage can also dismiss Memories whenever she pleases.
Feather Clones
Abilities
Hypertymesia
Mirage has hyperthymesia, allowing her to retain extensive amounts of information in great detail, which, considering the nature of her Shuneng and her role in Starchild Sorority, is extremely helpful.
Spiritual Eye
Mirage was born with her Spiritual Eye open, allowing her to see and interact with Ghosts. While initially uncontrollable, she has learned to open and shut it at will.
Exorcism
Mirage is knowledgeable on exorcism and purification rituals, both on inanimate objects and on living creatures.
Weaknesses
While spiritually powerful, Mirage is lacking in physical combat.
