The Federal Republic of Benween, commonly called Benween (English pronunciation: /'bənɣwin/), is a federal constitutional republic in East Europe. It is bordered on the northeast by The Sovietic Union. Benween covers 453.631 square kilometers and has an estimated population of 38.445.094 people. The capital city is Bucharest, also called Niscolen. Benween belongs to Union de Naciones Latinas e Ibericas.

Government

The Government is based on democracy, having a President-elect in national voting as head of state. The Power is divided into 3: executive, legislative and judicial.

The Supreme Congress of the Federal Republic of Benween (SCRFB) is the head of the legislative branch.

Foreign Relations and Military

Benween maintains relationships with all nations in the Union de Naciones Latinas e Ibericas region. Military service is not compulsory at the moment, the Army is made up of volunteers, although only Benweenese citizens can be in the Army, as well as occupy positions within the Government.

Territorial organization

Benween has three levels of territorial administration: the provinces, districts and cities / municipalities; in addition to the fact that its territory can also be divided into 4 cultural regions: Romania, Serbia, Hungary and Moldova.

Language

The most widely spoken and official language in the country is Benweenian. After this, some languages also spoken but not official are Spanish, Romanian, English, Serbian and Hungarian.

Religion

Christianity is practiced for approx. 58% of the country's population. 38% consider themselves orthodox and other religions only occupy 8% of the population.

Benween is one of the leading producers and exporters of agricultural products in Europe. This sector represents 10% of GDP. Crops occupy 40% of the country's surface; forest resources are abundant and fishing is expanding. There are natural gas and oil fields that contribute a significant percentage of daily consumption, but to cover the entire demand the country is obliged to import them. To try to reduce dependence on external factors, generation has been promoted in nuclear and hydroelectric power plants, and between both classes they provide 45% of the energy consumed in the country.

The industrial sector represents 35% of GDP. The main sectors are textiles, iron and steel, the production of machinery and vehicles, weapons and the processing of agricultural production.

Energy

Electricity production is based on the numerous hydroelectric plants on the Danube, Drina, Vlasina and Lim rivers, as well as thermal power plants, the main ones being in Obrenovac, Kostolac and Obilic. Benween also has only one nuclear power plant: Hokeleg, located in the Tulcea district, Romanian region.
