The NVI CBR-2 is the name of a series of Acrean submachine guns and pistol-caliber carbines developed and produced by Norske Våpenindustrier AB. Development and marketing of the CBR-2 was oriented primarily towards the Acrean law enforcement market, where submachine guns are still commonly used. The CBR-2 has found the most success in its semi-automatic configurations as a civilian firearm in Acrea. It has been adopted in fairly small numbers by Acrean police and intelligence security services under the designation MP-6.
