The HMS Eva Waterly-Davion (BB-EWD-002) was the second of the Eerika Waterly-Davion-class battleships and one of the original six dreadnought battleships built for the Cacertian Royal Navy. Built in relatively quick time, the Eva was laid down in January 1902, launched in September, and commissioned in December before the end of the year. She was armed with twelve 28cm guns in dual turrets arranged in a hexagonal pattern like her sister ships.
Eva, alongside the Eerika, served during the entirety of the Divide War and ended up earning more battle crosses than her sister. She provided critical artillery support for the Cacertian landings as part of the Desopya Campaign and remained on station to provide further naval gunfire. Following the failure of the campaign and the eventual withdrawal of Cacertian troops from Syara, the Eva was one of the last remaining Cacertian warships to depart for home.
After the conclusion of the Divide War, Eva remained a part of the CRN’s reserve fleet beginning in 1919 before eventually being sold for scrap in 1924.
