Marensoald is located on the Western Equatorial region of Majula, near the Atlantic Gulf. It is among some of the largest nations on Aeia by area, and has a population nearing 74 million persons, placing it among some of the most populated as well.

Thanks to its policy of globalized market socialism and liberalization efforts in many portions of consumer-end service industries, it has allowed for the development of one of the most successful socialist economies present in modern times.
