Imperial Confederation

The Imperial Confederation, often simplified to The Confederation is a sovereign country located within the Hyporian Sector, the Malvidian Sector, and the Lesphagian Sector. The Imperial Confederation's government is housed on the artificial constructed capital know as Avestion. There are five official member planets to the Confederation: Apregius, Barylius, Octavius, Stellus, and Canidoria. Every official member planet is located within the Hyporian Sector. The Imperial Confederation also has six observatory member planets to the Confederation: Qel, Kiridus, Ardomachia in the Hyporian Sector; Sormidia, Rokophantes in the Malvidian Sector; and Viedma in the Lesphagian Sector. As observatory members, they are considered to be under the Extended Law of the Imperial Confederation. The Imperial Confederation borders the Akannite Empire in the Malvidian Sector near Sormidia, and the Lijiang in the Lesphagian Sector near Viedma.

The Imperial Confederation was formed under the Birospa Congress after the end of the War of the Birospan System, where the Apregian Republic and the Octavian Empire fought briefly over control of the resource-rich system of Birospa after the Octavian Empire set up a mining station over the gas giant of Birospa III. The Congress would later sign the Birospan Agreement, and later would return to sign the Articles of Imperialist Confederation. This joined the four space-faring nations together in a pact.

The Imperial Confederation is the most diverse intergalactic state. There are six recognized state species: Apregians, Barylians, Stellans, Octavians, Caniderians, and Canidiums. Alongside this, there are several other minority species that are recognized as members of the Imperial Confederation: Qel, Kiridesics, Ardomachians, Sormidians, Rokophantesians, and Viedmans.
