The Douara-Khafid Airport is an airport located in El Khafidh, 13,4 kilometers south-east of Douara, Salamat. The airport was built in 1975 by the Salamati Government for touristic purposes. The Douara-Khafid Airport is the third most busiest airport of the country, behind Dar Al Hamma-Shahid Airport and Ghafun-Lakhdar Airport, with more than 10.8 million users per year. The airport is composed of two runways and three terminals.
