The Dar Al Hamma-Shahid Airport is an airport located in El Shahid, 11.7 kilometers (5.9 naut. miles) southeast of Dar Al Hamma, Salamat. The airport was bulit in 1937 under Riamese colonial rule and to this day, this is the busiest airport of Salamat, with over 21.4 million passengers per year using the airport. It is composed of three runways and four terminals. The airport was rebulit after the Dar Al Hamma Airport terrorist attack in 1996.
The airport is connected with the A7 and A3 highways, bus lines of the city of Dar Al Hamma and its surroundings and the line 2 of the Dar Al Hamma metro.
