Shav-eks [Voidite: Śäv-ek] are a race of mutated quadrupedal humans located in and around the Emerald Shade, primarily in Voidkree. The origins of the race are not entirely founded and some believe they are a race of people from before the Reset who where punished or corrupted by it. It is unknown who these people where before the Reset and what caused their mutation other than some Arcane
Etymology
The name originates from early Voidian stories and fairy tales that misinterpreted the race as a group of forest spirits and due to such circumstances they were called the "Śäv-ekula" in Voiditen or "Spirits" in common.
