The Special Military Command Huguîles (Notreceauen: Commandement Militaire Spécial Huguîles) or CMSH is a semi-autonomous branch of the Notreceauen military that operates exclusively in the overseas territory of Huguîles. The CMSH is a multi-component (ground, air, sea) military formation that is charged with defending the territorial integrity of Huguîles and Notreceau at large. Despite its nature as a combined force, the CMSH falls under the purview of the Department of the Navy, itself a component of the broader Notreceauen Department of National Defense, although it is allotted a separate budget concern for purposes of funding by the governments of Notreceau and the overseas administration of Huguîles respectively. For the purposes of standing for public office, service in the CMSH by both Notreceauens from the metropole and Huguîles itself is considered a qualifying factor. The CMSH was organized in 1949 following a broader reorganization of Notreceauen military assets, its predecessor organization the Troupee de Coloniale Huguîles ceasing to exist at its inception.
The current chief of the special command is Emmanuel Horlo. As of 2023 the CMSH has a total of [insert] active personnel and [insert] reserves.
