Sevilla, officially the Municipality of Sevilla (Tummylandian: Banuwa sa Sevilla) (regional language 3: Siuda ta Sevilla), is a municipality located in the province of Cabuson, Tummylandia and Susistan. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 24,511 people. Sevilla was formerly part of Ibarra municipality until October 9, 1955.

Sevilla is most known for its Kapiting festival, dedicated to the Lake Mata Crab, a freshwater crab local to Tummylandia and Susistan.

History

Before Spanish invasion, Sevilla was formerly under the rule of the Kedatuan of Cabuson, under the name of [TBD]. It was later invaded and occupied by the Spanish, who then built a settlement in the area. In 1955, it was seperated from Ibarra Municipality by president Francisco Iñigo Lim.
