Format

The League is composed of two distinct round-robin tournaments, split into Winter and Zomer tournaments. As of the present (2019-20) season, 16 teams compete in the Rijksdivisie, who compete in a total of 30 matchdays over the course of both tournaments, which run from September to January, and April to July, respectively.
