Durbanne is the second-largest city of Elborra after the capital of Alta'ti. It is a major port city on the South Samson Ocean, founded as a mining post for brecciated mineral and limestone deposits in the 13th century. After Elborra became a Iobarayan imperial subject in the 19th century, the city grew rapidly with industrialization and important shipbuilding industries.
