The Ruins of Iearth are the remains of the planet Iearth, the Human homeworld, which was destroyed in an overspace disaster in 3 BHT. Once the fifth planet in the Estrella System, humans colonized the nearby planet of Eirus in 762 BHT (or 2022 AD), marking the start of their expansion to other worlds and the era known as Human Expansion.
