Prince George, KSA (born George Alexandros Konstantinos Mykonos; 5 May 1990) is a member of the Belfrasian royal family. He is the third child and second son of Sovereign Prince Nicholaus and Beata Anicia, and is second in the line of succession to the Belfrasian throne.
George was educated at Jason V Academy in the footsteps of his elder siblings and father before announcing his intentions to attend the Imperial War College in 2007 to undergo officer training. He was commissioned as a Tetrarchus Secundi and briefly served with his cousin, Prince Michael.
Early life and education
George Alexandros Konstantinos Mykonos was born at Saint Judith Maternity Hospital in Thessalona on 5 May 1990 in a tradition following his siblings, father, and grandfather.
He is the third child and second son of Nicholaus and Beata. He has three siblings; elder sister and brother twins Victoria and Alexander (b. 15 June 1984), and a younger brother Christos (b. 7 April 1993) He was born as the next in line to the position of Heir Apparent behind his brother Alexander.
George spent the first three years of his life mostly at the family's house of Questros Palace in Thessalona, with summer breaks being taken at the family's summer household of Oakfield Castle. In 1994, aged four, George attended his first public appearance with his mother at a charity fund-raising event for the reforestation works in the south of the country. In 1997 he travelled with his family to Latium for the coronation of Jason VI, which sparked the first of several foreign trips by the royal family in which George was a part of.
In 1998, at age eight, George began to attend the Jason V Academy where his two elder siblings were already attending. During his tenure he excelled at physical training and during a Armed Forces presentation day in 2007 he became hooked on the idea of military service, which he told his father during the 2007/2008 holiday break.
Military service
George entered the Imperial War College in 7 September 2008 and began his training as an officer for the Army. He completed officers training in August 2009 and was commissioned as a Tetrarchus Secundi with Legio XIX. When he had reached two years seniority in 2010 he was promoted to Tetrarchus Prima and given his own platoon with Legio XVI. It was announced afterwards that as part of his duties with Legio XVI he entered combat against drug smuggling cartels in the country's south on two occasions, although leaked news of him entering a third anti-drug tour saw him withdrawn for his own safety.
Following passing theoretical and practical exams and the conclusion of a one-year training period, George was promoted to Decurion in 2015 and placed with the first Cohort of Legio XVII. According to the Military Council his duties during this time became mostly administrative, although several reports of him serving in a combat role were not denied during this period. In 2017 he was promoted to Centurion and given command of a cohort with the legendary Legio XXIII, the country's premier airborne unit that operated as light special forces when on deployment.
Eventually it was decided that his life was being placed in unnecessary danger and he was transferred to LI Divisio's command office whereupon he was deactivated and placed in reserves.
