The Kitamic State or simply Kitami is an Integralist Theocracy located in Tiandi, bordering Nukigurun to the north, Manaban to the east, both Kyidwulyi and Poshtal to the south, and both Ungaria along with Heerad to the West. The country is one of the wealthiest in Central Yoju, with an impressive manufacturing, agricultural, and energy base. It posses vast natural gas reserves, which the government has spent through the Kitami Development Fund into infrastructure, irrigation, and the country's manufacturing sector. Kitami is a major Yojuan partner of the Sinju Union, and hosts a few Fusenese military bases with thousands of troops. The country acts rival to Nukigurun, or other Manchu/Manchu controlled polities in Yoju, due to it's anti Manchu rhetoric.
Kitami is officially a theocracy, guided by the Great Khan of The Blooming Iris to restrain the "barbarism" of the Manchus. The state is made up of a centralized religious and bureaucratic apparatus which uses legalist norms to ensure the strength and stability of the state. The bureaucracy has been deemed "integralist" by some scholars, noting how it attempts to unify all spheres of the nation into a singular whole.
