Sloh is a medieval college city located in southern Hytklif, Azmara. It is situated at a traditional crossing point on the Bojner river, about 5km from the province's border with Haadland and 50km from Nyhâben, the province's capital.
As of 2013, the city had a population of 40,192 people. The city notably has the lowest number of native speakers of Hytklifer in the province of Hytklif, with only 2% of the city's population professing some knowledge of the language in the 2013 census. Furthermore, the city has been noted for a history of centre-left politics in a province often considered to be conservative, with the current mayor being environmental economist and Green politician Lilije Jonsdohter.
