Royal Patrol Squadrons are the forward detachments of larger Fleets.
History
Structure
The navy is divided into five services - the Surface Fleet, Submarine Fleet, Naval Aviation, Coast Guard, and Naval Infantry. The Royal Navy also include multiple support elements both at sea and ashore. The Naval Infantry, while not itself considered 'special forces', is considered to be superior line infantry, given its all-volunteer nature and specialist nature. Furthermore, the special forces "Maritime Infiltration and Distruption Battalions" is assigned to their command, carrying out counter-insurgency, counter-piracy, and commando-type missions in support of the Fleet.
The Royal Navy receives high spending priority, since it is vital to Vozh's defense as an island nation.
