The King Uroš I University (Serbian: Универзитет Краља Уроша Првог у Рајеву, Latin: Universitas Regis Urosii I) is a public university sponsored by Nikolia located in Paradise City, Blackhelm Confederacy. It was founded by the Kingdom of Nikolia as a result of a mutual agreement between Nikolia and the Exponential Empire on university exchange. The analogue to this university is Imperator Maximinius IV University located in Carigrad, Nikolia.

Campus Layout

The campus is located on a city block in the Tuder district and houses both academic, residential and administrative space on four floors. It is equipped with several classrooms, two large lecture halls, a student lounge, library, computer lab, and a landscaped central courtyard open to all students, faculty, and administrators. Along with a round the clock security staff, a residence director and graduate resident assistants live on site.

On-campus dormitory housing is available to all accepted undergraduate and graduate students. The dorms are located across the street from the main university building, and each dormitory room contains one or two single beds, desks, shelves, and closets. There are bathrooms on each floor, in addition to a student lounge equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, sink area, table, and chairs. Two full kitchens are also available for use by all dormitory students

Programs

In addition to serving as a "home" for visiting Nikolian and Mederanite scholars, King Uroš I University is also one of the foremost universities in the region for Slavic studies, Nikolian language, and East-West studies. Multiple graduates from King Uroš I have gone on to highly successful fields in the Foreign Office, and many others have contributed in significant ways to the development of Nikolian-Hesperidesian relations.

The school also offers study abroad opportunities to students in Nikolia, allowing undergraduates at several Nikolian universities the opportunity to spend on semester living and studying in the bustling capital of the Blackhelm Confederacy
