The Serene Republic of Orzu or simply Orzu, is a theocracy in Catai, bordering Ozena, Tagamban, Transcandar and Goulong. In the crossroads between Yen and Turkic Catai, Orzu has developed a unique syncretic culture, combining Yen and Turkic cuisine, languague, and even political traditions. In the modern day it serves as an important trade link between the two. Orzu has a diverse geography, having extensive river networks, wide steppes, and mountain ranges. This geography makes Orzu an ideal place for the cultivation of grains and citrus, two important Orkuz exports. Orzu possess a unique political system based on the principles of Alydian Subsidary, and soviet democracy, with a unique interplay between the federal government and Orkuzi localities. In recent years high rates of economic growth have made it a subject of study by overseas scholars.
