1954 Schoklandic general election

The 1954 Schoklandic general election was a important election in the political history of Schokland. The results in 3 of the 4 regions remained stable but in the Capital region saw a political earthquake. In the Capital region the right-wing Catholic KRP lost a massive share of votes (from 48% down to 30.1%), most of the votes were lost to the social democratic SDRP (from 19.2% up to 39.5%).
