The Most Noble Order of Odin, simply referred to as the Order of Odin, is the highest chivalric order in the Kingdom of Geordinia. It is bestowed by the Monarch and can only total a number of 25 Knights and Royal Knights. However, there may be additional 'Stranger Knights' who are awarded the Order of Odin but are not considered standard members. Stranger Knights and Ladies are often foreign heads of state.
The Monarch of Geordinia is the Grand Commander of the Order of Odin and is referred to as Odin's Son (often merged as Odinson). This comes from the coronation of a new Monarch, as the new Monarch will be proclaimed as the Son of Odin, regarddless of gender. The Chancellor of the Order of Odin is the principal secretary of the Order and is in charge of administrative affairs pertaining to the functions of the Order of Odin. Since the order's founding in 1241, the Chancellor of the Order of Odin has always been the Grand Duke of Baulvang.
