The 'McLear series of semi-automatic pistols were developed between 1977 and 1982 in Clashmore, Temuair by Keenan McLear and is currently the only line of firearms produced by McLear Incorporated of Temuair. McLear handguns are in use by various military forces, security services, and law enforcement agencies around the world, and have been widely exported for sale on the civilian market in foreign nations, making it one of the most widely used and successful handgun designs in the world.
