Alex is a Besmenian film series based on the Alex comic series by Ferdinand Saulm. The film series includes five animated teen comedy films.
Plot
The film series is about the life of the teenager Alexander Bosch and his everyday life at school. Alex is new to the Albrecht Neumann Regular School (Albrecht-Neumann-Regelschule) at the beginning of the first film. While the first film is set in 1984, the rest of the film takes place sometime in the late 1980s with no real year marking.

Reception and legacy
Alex was in 1984 the second most successful movie in theaters in Besmenia, behind the Vitosian movie Star Rebellion.
