The J.25 Caracole is an aerospace superiority fighter designed as a collaborative venture between the Aichi and Nakajima zaibatsu groups to fill a key niche in R.u.B aerospace forces. As an aerospace superiority fighter, the J.25 is intended to engage hostile fighters above all else, and is designed for equal effectiveness in both atmospheric and void based conditions. A third generation strike craft, the J.25 design has followed prior trends in Nakabean strike craft design to emphasise manoeuvrability and endurance in its operations, making it an exceptionally effective craft for aerospace superiority operations. While its specialised nature and high quality manufacture requirements have meant that relatively limited numbers have entered service with either the Imperial & Federal Aerospace Troops or Imperial & Federal Navy, in many limited border conflicts and counter-piracy operations, the J.25 has proven to be a highly effective superiority fighter.
