The MG18, officially the Maschingevär Modell 1918, and also known as the MG3A/F/M, is an Acrean 12.7x104mm heavy machine gun designed by Eirik von Sjögren for the Acrean Armed Forces in the 1910s. Derived from the earlier MG09 also designed by Sjögren, the MG18 was a second major attempt to develop a heavy machine gun for use both as an emplaced weapon and as heavier aircraft armament.
