The Legatian Marine Corps (Legatian: Exercitum Classicarium Legatium) is the amphibious warfare component of the Armed Forces of the Legatian Republic, and is one of the six uniformed branches of the Armed Forces, although it is technically subordinate to the Legatian Navy. Formed alongside the Navy, the Legatian Marine Corps is an elite fighting force designed around expeditionary warfare, capable of operating detached from significant logistical links. The mission of the Marine Corps is to conduct amphibious and expeditionary warfare and security operations in support of the sovereignty and national interests of the Legatian Republic, deploy and sustain force in engagements, participate in peacekeeping operations, and ensure the security and safety of the citizens of the Republic. Though functionally a separate branch and respected as such, the Marines interoperate significantly with Navy units, formations, and supplies.

The Legatian Marine Corps, while officially a separate branch, does not have an associated department in the Defense Magistrate. The Commander of the Marine Corps reports directly to the Navy's Chief of Naval Operations, and the Marine's Chief Tesserarius reports to the Master Senior Celeustus of the Navy. The Marine Corps does not have a Chief Tesserarius for the branch or any rank established for it, instead one Chief Tesserarius is directly billeted as the service's senior enlisted advisor.
