The Justicial State (, tr. Meshor’ephem), also known simply as the Justiciary or rarely as the Justicial Empire, is an Aleph plus hyperpower centred in the galactic core of the Milky Way. The Justiciary spans across thousands of systems and hundreds of worlds. It is a multispecies empire, but the Halephem are the founding species and are considered culturally dominant within the polity. The Justiciary shares interstellar wind connections with [list].
The Justiciary is home to hundreds of billions of souls, and it is the second-most populous polity in the known universe. The polity is a unitary kritocratic constitutional republic guided by the founding philosophy of Meshorism. The largest worlds are the Seven Spheres, the shared homeworlds of the Halephem, while the capital is Meshor'nesphy.
Drawing its origins from the rich tradition of Meshorism in the late Haleph Monarchy, the Justiciary was formed officially in 1692 CE, after the conclusion of the Charlidian Crusade, when Charlid I Charlidkin and Neshaqov bin'Shasher signed the Ascension Accords, formally uniting the Haleph Judiciate and the Kharian Order into a new polity.
