Camillo Tarquinius (Octavian: CAMILLUS TARQUINIUS) is an Octavian statesman and politican serving as the incumbent Councillary Representative of the Imperial Confederation and is the leading member of the Imperial Senate. He is a proponent of Octavian federalism and has pushed for a more federalist approach in the government. Politically, he represents the Imperialist Faction, a council of serveral different political parties including the Octavian party, the Castiglioni Party. He previously served as the Governor of Curtatone and subsequently served as a member of the Octavian Imperial Senate. Ideologically, Camillo is identified as leaning centrist.

Born in Ostiglia, Viadana on the planet of Octane, Camillo was born to a family with a strong noble background that involved military service. Camillo attended the Imperial Galactic Institute of Brescello in military officer training. Camillo reportedly had an unknown daughter at this time with a woman named Francisca. Camillo graduated and was trained to become part of the Octavian Coderosse, a special detachment of the Octavian Imperial Legion that reported directly to the Emperor, Eugenio III as well as the Imperial Strategic Armed Command. Camillo was dispatched with the 8th Coderosse Detachment to the planet of Sormidia during the Sormidian Civil War. Camillo would later be one of the Coderosse operators that deemed that direct military intervention by the Imperial Confederation's primary member states would be necessary to stop the Civil War.

Camillo became directly involved in the political stabilization efforts taken on Sormidia after the end of the Civil War.
