The Dar Al Hamma-Shahid Airport is an airport located in El Shahid, 27.3 kilometers south-south east of Dar Al Hamma, Salamat. The airport was bulit in 1937 under Riamese colonial rule and to this day, this is the busiest airport of Salamat, with over 21.4 million passengers per year using the airport. It is composed of two runways and two terminals. The airport was rebulit after the Dar Al Hamma Airport terrorist attack in 1996.

The airport is connected with a train system running from central Dar Al Hamma to the airport, highways (most notably the Airport ring surrounding the airport) and the 2nd metro line of Dar Al Hamma at the "Airport" station.

The Dar Al Hamma non-directional beacon is located 7.3 km west of the airport, in the village of Khasidhi. The Dar Al Hamma VOR-DME is located 1.8 km north of the airport, south-west of the village of El Shahid, in a wheat field.
